Filigree art has been known since 2500 BC, reaching its zenith in Byzantium. Throughout the centuries there has been a specific production of traditional Macedonian filigree, which today is made by young, creative and gifted craftsmen.

Ohrid pearl is a recognizable and unique mark of the city of Ohrid and RS. Macedonia. The base of the pearl is made by hand from the core of the shell and then coated with an emulsion, obtained by secret recipe, from the fish scales of the endemic species Plasica. Of course, this emulsion is the most specific part of making the unique Ohrid pearl.
